Alaska Trucking Spill Management Workshop
Every year thousands of gallons of refined fuels and hazardous substances are released in Alaska as a result of trucking incidents. Spills vary in size and even small quantities can present a challenging cleanup.
While every spill is different, state and federal agencies have come together to present information as to what industry would likely encounter in the event of a spill along a roadway. The Alaska Trucking Spill Management Workshop is hosted by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC), Alaska Department of Transportation (ADOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG).
